Vacancy for 'Communications'

Function

At Studied, we believe that quality education should be accessible to all. We are looking for a proactive communications officer (with a heart for education) to help us propagate and reinforce this vision.

As a communications officer, you will be responsible for both Studied's internal and external communications. You will create content that not only informs, but also inspires and communicates our mission and vision.

Who are you?

What we look for in a communications officer:

- Student, preferably university.

- You have some basic knowledge of marketing and/or communications.

- Affinity for text writing and design.

- You can tell stories and know how to turn ideas from yourself and your colleagues into clear but smooth communication.

- You are independent, but also know how to work well in a team.

- You don't sit still and can work with deadlines.

- You live, preferably, in the Maastricht and/or South Limburg region.

What will you do (approximately)?

Announcements and newsletters 0.5 hours 2 hours This includes writing a monthly update to colleagues and communicating important issues in between.
Internal events and activities Variable. Variable. This includes organizing internal events, such as a heath day or team drinks.
Culture and values Variable. Variable. This includes communicating our mission, vision and core values internally. You facilitate this together with (especially) HR.
Feedback and suggestions Variable. Variable. This includes gathering feedback and/or suggestions from and for your colleagues.
External
Monthly newsletter 1 hour 4 hours This includes collecting content, writing, (designing) and sending the newsletter.
Writing blogs 3 hours 6 - 9 a.m. This time is for research, writing the blog and possibly finding images.
Social media 2 hours 8 hours This includes gathering content, writing and (designing) the social posts.
External events and activities Variable. Variable. This includes organizing external events and collaborations, such as our booth at faculty introductions and developing content with partners.
Culture and values Variable. Variable. This includes communicating our mission, vision and core values internally. You will facilitate this together with Marketing.
Feedback and suggestions Variable. Variable. Executive work. Such as setting up a survey, setting it up, sending it out, collecting it, sending reminders, etc.
