Why you should prepare your first tests with us.

The first tests. Some students come to us as early as the summer vacation to prepare them, others only one or two weeks before the test. But, why should you prepare your first tests with us at all?

Good beginnings are half the battle
This is especially true for your grades and subject matter. By getting good grades at the beginning of the school year, you create a strong average. Obviously, this will benefit you for the rest of the year (and sometimes even years). In addition, you lay a good foundation for subject content. After all, you understand it sufficiently and have seen this from your grade. If you have trouble getting this done on your own or just want a little support, we can set this as a goal with you and start working on it!

Save stress
Stress destroys more than you care to. It makes your days and nights heavier, making preparing for tests more difficult. Not only that, often you find preparing for your test so important that activities you get relaxation from get put aside, such as sports. Our classes can help you reduce the stress of test preparation. On the one hand because you get more grip on the subject matter, on the other hand because you gain more self-confidence and/or peace of mind.

Prevent backlogs
If you can't follow lessons properly or still don't understand the material during self-study, you can fall behind. In doing so, you run the risk of falling behind so much that it becomes impossible to eliminate. We regularly receive students who are close to or have already reached this point. Although we can catch up with you, it is better to avoid this situation. Not only because this prevents unnecessary stress, but also because the student's potential is better utilized. We often see when eliminating backlogs that the student can do it. It is a mortal sin if this only shows in the last tests of the year.

Efficiency through good connection
Good cooperation between student and Tutor is very important. Of course there must be a click between the learner and Tutor , but a click without a method of working that functions for both still results in guidance without results. Therefore, we also check if the cooperation between the student and Tutor is functioning. As a rule, naturally develops into a working method that works for both. This is a matter of good communication and listening, especially by the Tutor. However, it remains something you cannot force. It is therefore much better to start tutoring, homework help or exam training early in the school year so that the Tutor and student can find an appropriate working method. Then they will go through the school year as a well-oiled machine!
