Personal data

Studied processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself:

  • First and last name.
  • Gender.
  • Date of birth.
  • Address information.
  • Phone number.
  • E-mail address.
  • Location details.
  • Data about your activities on our website.
  • List customer contact information via an app.
  • Internet browser and device type.
  • Bank account number.
  • Citizen Service Number (BSN).

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Studied processes the following special and/or sensitive personal data about you:

  • Personal data of persons under 16 years of age.

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect personal data about website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16, so we encourage parents or guardians to be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at b.jennissen@studied.nl and we will delete this information.

Studied distinguishes between four categories of personal data, namely:

  • Employee data.
  • Client and service recipient data.
  • Details of other relationships.

The purpose and basis of processing personal data

Studied processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Handling your payment.
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising flyer.
  • Calling or emailing you when necessary to perform our services.
  • Informing you of changes to our services and products.
  • Allowing you to create an account.
  • To deliver goods and services to you.
  • Studied also processes data if we are legally required to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.

Automated decision-making

Studied does not use automated decision-making that could (significantly) affect individuals.

Retaining personal data

Studied stores your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to realize the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following four categories of personal data:

  • Applicants' data are kept at least until the end of the application process, i.e. the decision to hire or reject, and for a maximum of 10 years after this moment.
  • Employees' data are kept at least until the end of employment and for a maximum of 10 years after this time.
  • Customer and service recipient data are kept at least until the end of the customer relationship, which occurs if no invoice has been sent to this customer for more than 5 years and all outstanding invoices from this customer have been paid, and for a maximum of 10 years after this time.
  • Records of other relationships are kept for up to 10 years.

Sharing personal data

Studied does not sell your personal data to third parties. Studied provides your data to third parties solely for the execution of our agreement with you or to fulfill a legal obligation. We will only do this with your explicit consent.

Studied remains responsible for your data.

Studied uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies.

View, modify or delete personal data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this through the personal settings of your account. You also have the right to withdraw your possible consent for data processing or object to the processing of your data by our company and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can request us to send the data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

If you wish to exercise your right to object and/or right to data portability or have other questions/comments about data processing, please send an itemized request to b.jennissen@studied.nl.

To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. Studied will respond to your request as soon as possible, but at least within four weeks.

Personal data security

Studied takes the protection of your personal data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
