Learn how to go back to school after a few years!

Noah is 22 years old and works in the hospitality industry in Maastricht. This year, he decided to follow a new course and start the part-time WFT Power course. Who are you and what do you do in daily life?

My name is Noah, 22 years old, I live in Maastricht and work in the hospitality industry. I want to make a start in the financial sector for which I am following various courses.

Why did you seek help? What was your purpose of counseling at Studied?

I looked for effective methods for studying and how to best apply them.

What was the approach to your guidance? Did you achieve your goal with this?

During the first meeting, the methods were discussed and how I could best apply them. Every two weeks, I and my tutor went through the methods again and we looked at what works for me and what doesn't and, if necessary, I got some extra tips.

How did you experience the guidance as personal?

It was a nice, loose atmosphere where there was also the space to just have a chat!

What lesson or event did you remember most of the guidance?

The effect of the Pomodoro method continues to fascinate me! I now use this at every moment of study.

How important do you find the click with your tutor?

I am of the opinion that when there is a loose atmosphere, it is better to adopt the theory. A click with your tutor is certainly important here!

Do you find your guidance easy to combine with other activities?

Scheduling always went smoothly and scheduling an hour later or later was never a problem. This makes it easy to combine with work and study.

What are your plans after your supervision with Studied (school year, study, work, other)?

In September, I completed WFT Assets and will start with Business Economics, and several more studies will follow. I aspire to a career as a securities trader, asset manager and/or investment advisor.

What will you take away from your supervision at Studied in the rest of your career?

That not only applying the right methods but also making realistic planning is important to achieve certain goals. Checking off is easier than unexpectedly studying and hoping you get everything done.

Would you recommend Studied and why?

Their plan of action is customized, personal and realistic. The contact between me and my tutor was nice and there were also occasional laughs! Every time I had the feeling that I was going out with enough handles. I absolutely recommend Studied!
