It feels silly to write this article. Five years ago, I started Studied with the ambition of building a scalable business formula that is not only lucrative, but also socially valuable. I thought it would be fun to look back on this adventure through this blog.

We participate in the campaign "On the way to the bicycle exam" in cooperation with the ANWB and TeamAlert. Schools in the municipality of Maastricht receive a free teaching guide to prepare students for the cycling exam and prevent traffic accidents. A valuable campaign with future perspective.

This week I spoke to another Sarah. In fact, in addition to Sarah Ewals, we have several similarly named student teachers working with us. Some with "h" and some without. In this case, I spoke with Sarah Huizenga. She talks about her life as a medical student who practices top sport at M.S.R.V. Saurus and teaches with us.

Denise Olivers of Learn4Life gave our student teachers an informative and enthusiastic training on autism. Indeed, students with a diagnosis or behavioral traits of autism often need guidance with their schoolwork. But, how can you best support these students?

Our society unfortunately still has child poverty. I am pleased that with our participation in the Kansrijk Kind campaign, we support bringing attention to Children's Foundation of the Food Bank, Children's Party Foundation and The Holiday Bank.

Sofie has been teaching at Studied for 2.5 years now. She does this alongside her master's degree in Medicine at Maastricht University, for which she is currently doing internships. In conversation with me, Sofie talks about her time with us, shares some tips for students and explains how her classes can be combined with all her pursuits.

Abel received some questions from me about his work as Tutor with us. For a year now, he has been tutoring students in the beta subjects, math A and B. He explains that he enjoys making the abstract concepts of chemistry understandable and that it is perfect for him to teach with us while studying.

I asked Sarah some questions about her time with us as Tutor. She tutors several students of different levels, and she likes it. For example, she talks about her interest in the subjects she teaches, the flexibility of her classes and how she helps her students progress.
