Our high school transition programme
Is your child finishing groep 8 (the final year of Dutch primary school) and starting brugklas (or Year 7)? This training is here to help them get off to a strong start.
This training is made for Year 6 pupils who are about to make the big leap from primary to secondary. Because let’s be honest, that switch can be a lot. New subjects, more homework, and suddenly being expected to “just figure it out”? That’s not easy.
We break it down. Step by step. So your child can start confidently, and you can worry a little less.
What we do
Our training gives your child a head start in Year 7. They get to know how secondary school works, learn how to plan homework, and build independence (without being thrown in at the deep end).

How we work
Start with what's familiar: Every lesson begins with a quick recap, often using a mindmap, so your child can connect the dots and see progress.
Mix it up: Theory one week, skills the next. That way it stays fun and they develop more than just school smarts.
Hands-on and practical: We use games, experiments and real-world examples to make learning feel less like, well… learning.
Growing independence, step by step: From learning to plan, to managing their own tasks, independence grows throughout the programme, across three key lessons.
How to sign up?
Signing up is easy: just fill in the form. There’s no deadline. You can register right up until the start of the new school year.
